Cassie of Successful Tails and Lisa of Won Love Dog Training combined forces to create Pursuing Pawgress, A Learning Center for Dogs & Their People in 2025.
Putting over 20 years of experience together, we have developed a space for two species to connect. Training isn't just about obedience, it's about understanding and teamwork. We believe in building a relationship between you and your dog through training and enrichment.

Cassie Johansen- Successful Tails, LLC
Owner/Trainer, CPDT-KA
Cassie has experience in many animal fields from bathing dogs to breeding horses. She began training dogs for fun while participating in her local 4-H program in 2008. Since then, she received a 4-year degree from Iowa State University and started training dogs professionally. Her training experience includes general obedience and puppy manners, as well as service dog training for individuals with disabilities. Cassie enjoys increasing her experience and knowledge base by continually attending conferences and webinars to always stay up-to-date on the most current training theories and strategies.

Lisa is a fifth generation Vero Beach, Florida native! Her desire is to help strengthen the communication between 2 species ~ dog & human! She hopes to accomplish this by learning, bonding & having fun with you and your pet through activities, training and enrichment. Won Love is based on the foundation that ALL beings deserve trust, respect & love. Lisa believes in working with all dog breeds and at all stages of life. It is her goal to honor your dog(s) as the individuals they are and to help you reach your desired goals with your pet. Animal Behavior College- Pioneers in the animal industry
ABC Certified Dog Trainers understand how to teach new behaviors through luring, shaping, capturing or molding and have mastered the behavioral principles of operant conditioning. They have studied positive reinforcement dog training techniques as their primary training tool, which allows your dog to learn the desired behaviors while keeping that unique spark that makes your dog so special to you. Requirements for graduation include the extensive study of the scientific principles of how dogs learn, in addition to a hands-on externship with dog training professionals.
CCPDT is the leading independent certifying organization for the dog training profession
CPDT-KA certification recognizes the knowledge and experience of professional dog trainers. Certificants must provide references that attest to their work and pass a rigorous written exam that focuses on the science behind dog behavior and the application of training techniques. CPDT-KA certification provides an independent, scientifically valid measure of an individual's understanding of the field of dog training, including instruction skills, learning theory, ethology, equipment, and animal husbandry.
